In early, she lost in the Brisbane qualifiyng, in the first round in Australian Open, maybe she was not quite recovered from her injury. But afew weeks later, she wins in Sydney the ITF Challenge, she's finalist in Burnie...

In French Open, she receive a wild card and she honors her wild card because she reach the 1/8. She wins vs Yung-jan, Date Krumm (who win vs Safina in the first round!), and vs Rodionova. She lost vs Shvedova in 1/8 but I was in this Roland-Garros for one week-end,( I could not see Jarka because she didn't play this week-end) and I can say Jarka was encouraged by many people and it was great to read a press article(in the main french sport newspaper: l'Equipe) about the beautiful Jarka open.

In Wimbledon Jarka republishes the same performance, she wins vs Voracova, Oudin, Kerber and she was defeated by Venus Williams.

She's the second Australian tennis woman in the WTA Ranking, after Samantha Stosur. In US Open, she lost i the first round vs Sharapova.

In middle September, she win the most big and important of her carreer title in Guangzhou, her first WTA title. She win this tournament with a disconcerting ease.

She receive a new ranking (n°41), her best since the beginning of her career.

Jarka was nominated for Newcombe Medal who Samantha Stosur win the award. Another recognition to her beautiful season.

Au début, elle a perd au premier tourd des qualifications à Brisbane, puis au premier tour de l'Open d'Australie, peut-être qu'elle ne s'est pas tout à fait remise de sa blessure de la fin 2009. Mais quelques semaines plus tard, elle gagne à Sydney le Challenge ITF, puis elle est finaliste à Burnie ...
Donc rien de grave puisque elle se réleve très rapidement. A Roland-Garros, elle reçoit une wild card et elle rend hommage à ce joker car elle atteind les huitiéme de finale. Elle gagne contre Yung-janpuis vs, DateKrumm (qui s'était imposée vs Safina au premier tour!), et vs Rodionova.Elle a perdu contre Shvedova en 1 / 8, mais j'ai été à ce Roland-Garros pour un week-end, (je ne pouvais pas voir Jarka parce qu'elle n'a pas joué ce week-end) et je peux dire que Jarka a été encouragé par de nombreuses personnes et c'était génial de lire un article de presse dans le principal journal sportif français :l'Equipe, sur le beau tournoi que réaliser Jarka.
En Wimbledon Jarka réédite la même performance, elle gagne vsVoracova, Oudin, Kerber et elle a été battue par Venus Williams.
Elle est la deuxiéme meilleure joueuse de tennis australienne au classement WTA, après Samantha Stosur. Dans l'US Open, elle a perdu au premier tour face à Maria Sharapova.
Au milieu Septembre, elle gagnera le plus grand et important  trophée de sa jeune carrière à Guangzhou, (son premier titre WTA), une immense joie qui est amplement mérité après le tournoi dominé de bout en bout. Elle remporter ce tournoi avec une facilité déconcertante.
Elle a obtenu un nouveau classement: 41 ème, sa meilleure depuis le début de sa carrière.

Jarka a été nominé pour la médaille Newcombe que Samantha Stosur a remporté. Un autre reconnaissance à sa belle saison et à une carriére bien commencée.
